All initial SMS outreach messages now automatically include:
“Reply STOP to opt out” -
This requirement applies to all plans
-
The opt-out language:
-
Cannot be removed
-
Counts toward the total character limit
-
-
Follow-up messages sent via Automations or Bulk Reply are not affected
Increased SMS Character Limits for Universal Credit Plans
-
Organizations on the Universal Credit Plan can now send messages up to 450 characters
-
Messages over 300 characters use 1 additional SMS credit per message
-
Organizations not on Universal plans remain capped at 300 characters
Clear Credit Indicators Before Sending
-
When messages exceed 300 characters, GlassHouse displays:
-
Updated credit cost (highlighted in orange)
-
Character count
-
Informational icon indicating additional credit usage
-
These updates ensure SMS compliance across all plans while giving Universal plan customers more flexibility and transparency when sending messages.
