You can insert logos, clickable photos, or even link an image to a video thumbnail.

🎯 Why You Want to Use It

  • Create a more professional and branded experience for your recipients.
  • Increase engagement by linking your logo or image to your website or video.
  • Make your outreach visually appealing without hurting deliverability.

⚙️ Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Open Your Campaign

    • Select the campaign you want to edit.
    • Go to Sequences and open the specific step where you’d like to add an image.

To embed an image properly, it must be hosted online.
An easy way to do this is through Google Photos:

    • Upload your photo to Google Photos.

    • Click the photo to open it.

    • Select Share → Create Link.

    • Copy the link once it’s generated.

3. Convert the Link to an Embed Link
A direct image link is required to display your photo correctly.

    • Go to this free site: https://ctrlq.org/google/photos/

    • Paste your copied Google Photos link into the field.

    • Check the box “I’m not a robot.”

    • Click Generate Embed Code.

    • Copy the Direct Image Link (the first option).

4. Insert the Image

    • Go back to your campaign.
    • In your sequence editor, scroll to the message section.

    • Click the ➕ More Rich → Insert Image button.

    • Paste your Direct Image Link and insert it.

    • Resize or adjust placement as needed.

5. Make It Clickable (Optional)

To link your image (e.g., logo or video thumbnail):

    • Hover over the image you just added.

    • Select Insert Link.

    • Paste the website or video URL.

    • Click Insert.

6. Simulate a Video Thumbnail (Optional)

While embedded videos are not supported, you can:

    • Add a screenshot of your YouTube video with a play button overlay.

    • Link it to the actual video so users can click to watch.

7. Save and Test

Save your sequence, then send yourself a test email to confirm the image appears and links correctly.

Can I use large images? Smaller, optimized images work best to prevent deliverability issues.
Will adding images affect deliverability? Generally no, as long as images are lightweight and properly linked. Avoid using too many in a single message.
Can I add GIFs? Yes — as long as the GIF is hosted online and you insert it using a direct link, just like a regular image.
Can I link to YouTube? Yes — just link your image to your YouTube video or another page that hosts the video.

🧩 Pro Tip

If you’re linking to a video, add a small “play” icon over the image before uploading — it helps improve click rates by mimicking a real video thumbnail.
